Stress is the tension of the tiger preparing itself for action.
But the tiger also rests. He only springs into action when there is a need.

Listening to a podcast from The Sons of the Law of One (episode 24), I was struck by what was said about belief and faith.

As never before, you as spirit are trying to batter through the pictures of reality that you as personality are holding. Ascension is such a vast concept that these little pictures have to go if you are to grasp even a fraction of what it means. So let go of any opinions of who you think you are, who you think other people are and what you think Spirit is. Keep your belief systems wide open and discrimination alive and well.
If belief is cerain death to understanding, what do you have left? Belief stems from wishing something to be true. It is built on preconceptions and prejudices, and opens its mind only to whatever fits its models. Faith, on the other hand, is a plunge into the unknown with an open mind, in the certain knowledge that it’s all right to let go. Faith knows that it won’t necessarily be safe or comfortable, but that it will be all right.
Thoughts that came to me while I was listening to the audio file I partially transcribed today.
Light is knowledge and awareness. Darkness is ignorance and unawareness.
Alchemical formula:
Look directly at the darkness within you, around you. See it. Then shed light on it, into it.
Ignorance and unawareness will be transformed into knowledge and awareness.

According to Tom Kenyon, the person who channelled this information, “The Hathors say that they are a group of interdimensional, intergalactic beings who were connected ancient Egypt through the Temples of the Goddess Hathor, as well as several other pre-history cultures.”
It is a message to people who are seeking the mysteries, enlightenment, ascension or whatever one wants to call it. Even if you are not a believer in channelling or ascension or such things, it is still a powerful message and can easily be interpreted from the standpoint of modern psychology.

You cannot bypass your own underworld. You must go down into the catacombs of your own unconsciousness before seeking the higher spiritual mysteries. The higher you go in consciousness, the deeper you must delve to remain in balance. If you go too high in consciousness without balancing your hidden depths, including your own unconsciousness, then you are unbalanced and potentially dangerous. Why? Because you are acting without awareness of the crucial parts of yourself that are in your own underworld — those aspects that are not evolved, such as your angers, your hatreds, your jealousies, your rages, your fantasies and even death wishes. These things that you try to keep out of awareness are part of your human nature, and your task as a human being is to integrate and to heal all levels of your experience in this dimension.
One of those levels of experience which must be healed has to do with what you call darkness, which we call unawareness. The darkness is unawareness. The task of evolution as we see it is to expand awareness so that it is all-encompassing and becomes incorporated into all of your beingness. The process, the circumstances and the events that are occurring on your planet at this time are of such an intense nature that they are activators for those feelings and beliefs that live in your underworld. The fulcrum point of experience, the intensity of the moment-by-moment experiences of life are the initiatory portals allowing you to move into an awareness and understanding of the depths of yourselves.
Never doubt your nature is profoundly capable of this task, for your consciousness includes the light, the celestial realms of your own being, as well as the dark, demonic worlds of your own being. To hold these two polarities in compassion, consciousness and love is to balance them and to heal the darkness through the power and the light of awareness. This is the task of evolution, as we see it, for this level and your dimension. Your earth is evolving, arising into a higher lever of awareness, vibration and consciousness. And so, friends of Earth, are you.
All things in the manifest universe are vibrational in nature. Your science continues to uncover this truth, that everything that exists is vibrational, that all things have sound or vibration as well as well as form, and that the forms and vibrations are interchangeable. There is a direct relationship between the form of something and its frequency of vibration.
From our perspective you are complex interconnecting fields of energy, including light and sound. The various cells that comprise the organs and systems of your body emit sound vibrations — frequencies that are complex and interconnect with other cells, thus causing cellular resonances. In fact, the entire universe of your body is a walking symphony. This is not a metaphor, for you are luminous eggs of cascading energy, creating multiple cascading resonances of sound. Your body, for instance, is a standing wave pattern created through many forces, and those various standing saves that comprise your body are in resonance to the Earth and are also affected by the resonant shifts that the Earth is going through.
At present, the Earth is going through a major transitory period in which its own resonances and vibrations are altering and moving to a new state of balance. Therefore, the resonant fields of your body are also transiting to a new level of balance from the subatomic, atomic, on up to the cellular, and are affecting your organs and systems. This is creating tremendous internal biological stresses, which get translated into physical challenges that sometimes take the form of diseases and sometimes the form of fatigue or agitated states. In the emotional realm it takes the form of emotional instability.
Emotions are also sound and vibration, for they are actually a multilevel phenomenon which include neurological patterns within the brain. The hormonal responses in your body are also related to the changes in emotion. Emotion affects changes in breathing patterns and oxygenation in the blood, as well as changes in blood chemistry. All of these changes set off specific harmonics. These vibrational changes can be detected and, your science is on the verge of doing so. You will soon find that all emotions have a sound, or vibratory, signature. Thus all emotions will come to be viewed much like musical chords, some of which are melodic, soothing, while others are grating and cacophonous.
Thus, although we have come to encourage and assist you, it is appropriate that we should leave you with a challenge. We challenge you to take this opportunity that you have right before you to live your life in service to light itself. This does not mean giving away your power to anyone else. This does not mean taking care of anyone at your own expense. This means being aware of the interconnectedness of all things, honoring all beings so that the motivation for one’s actions becomes not merely self-interest but interest in the greater good.
As you continue to evolve and move up the spiral of ascension through the spiral of consciousness, your perspective of the collective goodwill will change, for all things are relative to the state of consciousness through which you perceive it. This is a crucial concept. Do remember, please, that all things are relative to the state of consciousness through which they are perceived. So what might seem like a negative situation on one level of consciousness can actually be experienced in another state of consciousness.
Nothing is binding or absolute in the relative universe in which you live. The only thing which is absolute and unchanging is the deepest, unmoving center of our own consciousness. As you begin to align yourself with the evolution of life itself, with the growth of life and consciousness, you will be lifted up in a way that you may not be able to imagine. For miracles occur; opportunities open and your destiny is changed when you live in service to life. Why? This vibration changes all things in the twinkling of an eye. The past can be changed and the future open with possibilities beyond imagination.
And so we challenge you to live and experiment, just as many saints, teachers and masters have done previously and are currently doing. Try it for a few weeks and see what happens. When there is an opportunity to be kind to another human or an animal, let your kindness show. When there is an opportunity to show compassion to another, be compassionate. When there is an opportunity to listen to someone, grant the grace and listen. Listen fully and deeply, without wanting to impose your own views, your own agendas. As you listen to and hear and receive the other, you will see your relationships being vastly and quickly transformed. There are miracles waiting for you when you ask the unasked question: What can I do here that will serve the greater good? What can I do here that will serve life’s deepest purpose through me?
Finally, we would say to you that you hold the keys to your own liberation, to your own enlightenment, to your own upliftment. These keys are obtained through the power of your awareness, your ability to make choices and the law of vibration and resonance. The law assures that whatever you resonate to will be revealed to you. If your consciousness resonates with the highest of the high, you will experience life in an exalted celestial way. If you experience your life through the vibration of conflict and greed and constricted awareness, you will experience life as a kind of hell. All these domains and realms exist simultaneously and can be activated by you at any moment.
In fact, they are activated by you every moment of your life through the act of choice. While living your life in service to the greater life, to evolution of consciousness as it expresses through you, you assure yourself a secure footing on the stairway that leads to heavenly realms. Whatever choice you make, acknowledge your mastery and your freedom to express it. To those of you who have already chosen or who now choose to serve life and the growth of consciousness as it expresses through you in all beings, we welcome you as brothers and sisters on the journey. So be it.
I find myself flummoxed by events lately, as if I’m floating in a kind of nowhere/nothing in the midst of the chaos that surrounds me. How can so many humans be such unbelievable fools? Why do people persist in thinking they can go into the future by holding onto the past? That nothing will ever change and things will go back to their “normal” course if we just wait it out?
It’s the events of the past week that really brought things to a head for me. Spain’s prime minister/president has been resisting dealing with the current recession (or “crisis”, as it’s known here) by the usual method of cutting salaries and social services instead of going after the real culprits of the situation.
Finally, the powers-that-be in the European Union dragged him across the carpet and he came home with his tail between his legs. The mantra of the times: We must reduce the deficit. The top guns in the opposition party and their cronies in the country’s business association crowed with glee while the trade unions (whose newly minted agreement with the government was about to go through the meat grinder) started girding for battle. Fortunately, as I read in the press, not everybody in the country has gone mad and the discussions are interesting, to say the least.
So what do I do now? Where do I go? I’ve been thinking thoughts of dying recently. No, not suicide — just dying. What does that mean? I must admit it’s shaken me. Then today (blessed be Saturday) I found a note in my inbox from Karen Bishop, with her latest post, that shook me even more. Every time I read one of her posts I feel as if it’s explaining what’s happening to me. We seem to be following parallel paths, or me following slightly behind her, but she understands better what’s going on.
In this watershed post she refers back to the post of May 2, which refers back to the one of April 30. I’d read them both, but it was as if I’d never seen them before. Oh, lordy, did I ever miss the message!
Actually, I’m feeling calmer now. It helps to know what’s going on so I can decide how I want to handle the situation. My own situation, that is. There’s nothing any of us can do about how other people act in the same circumstances.
I sort of feel like going with option 2 (in the May 2 post). Just curious, I guess.
I also feel it’s time I got serious about tuning into the Source. I mean, REALLY. Instead of waiting for someone else to explain things to me.
Today I learned about a place called Ha Ha Tonka State Park in Missouri — from a Shockwave jigsaw puzzle, no less. Googling for it I found a website with a load of information and photos.
